Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!!!!!

So as of Tuesday I am officially 20 years old! But my birthday celebrations started a while ago. I first had my birthday dinner with my family when they came down to Cedar to visit me over homecoming weekend. We went to Godfather's Pizza and it was delic!
Then last weekend I went home to celebrate with Colton. For weeks, no actually more like, months, he's been driving me crazy about his amazing gift he got me. The week before he was especially bad with giving me ridiculous hints and telling everyone but me and basically torturing the heck out of me. But before I went out with hime, I went shopping with my mom. I got so much money for my birthday it was crazy. It was a lot of fun, and I got some great deals!!! Then Colton and I went to Olive Garden for dinner. After that he blindfolded me and drove me all over to get me lost (which isn't too hard). After a while of driving he finally let me take off my blindfold. When I took it off we were at the So You Think You Can Dance tour concert!!!!! I was so surprised and so happy!!!! It was awesome!!! Best concert I have ever been to!!!! Colton definately got the best present award!!! The concert was so awesome and I'm sorry I don't have any pictures...I didn't know I needed my camera. But overall it was an amazing night! Thanks Colton!
On my actual birthday I went to dinner with my roomies and a couple other friends. Then we had cake at my apartment. It was fun. Overall I had a pretty good birthday.

They Dropped You!!!!!!

So Aubree had to perform at SUU's Howl for drill. Well they had a stunt in the dance where they threw her up and she was supposed to flip and then they catch her and she rolls off. Well when adrenaline starts pumping we sometimes go bigger than we usually do. Well the adrenaline was pumping and the girls ended up throwing Aubree much higher than normal and she flew over all the girls and faceplanted it to the ground. It's been estemated to be about an 8 foot drop so needless to say she is not in the best condition. She bit through her lip so it's all swollen. She sprained her ankle and may have broken her wrist. We'll find out for sure tomorrow. If her wrist is broken she'll have to have surgery and then she'll be out for eight weeks. So we're all hoping she doesn't. Here are some pictures of the damage.

Halloween

For Halloween Kaitlyn and I dressed up as Dead Nurses and went to the institute Trunk-or-Treat. I think this is the first time I've ever gone way crazy for Halloween. Here are a few pictures from the night.

Suprise Weekend!!!

So last weekend I got a huge surprise. I was at the dance studio's Halloween Party and I was helping clean up when I turn around and see my brothers running at me! Yes, my brothers! My family had drove down for the weekend without telling me! I was so happy to see them and we had a great weekend. We went to dinner at Godfather's Pizza for dinner on Friday night for my birthday and then stayed at my Aunt Bev's house. My parent's went and rented 17 Again because that was about the only thing to rent, but I didn't mind in the least, I love that movie! Saturday we had a busy day. It was homecoming weekend so there was a lot going on. We went to the parade in the morning and found that when you have a little kid around you get lots of candy. My mom's hoodie pocket was full. It was great. Then we went to the Tailgate and had free food and got free shirts. Then Aubree was able to get my whole family free tickets to the football game which was way awesome. So we went and watched the first half of the game, which was about all Kyler could handle cause he didn't like sitting and we were sitting right next to where they would shoot the cannon off and he didn't really like that. But my mom bought him an SUU jersey and he looked like such a stud! I guess him and Jacob were walking around and some guy asked Jacob to take a picture of him and his friends with the drill team girls and Aubree said Kyler could be in it too. So Kyler got his picture taken with the whole team of girls. I wish I could've seen the picture. But after the game we went and played at Discovery Park and then went to dinner at IHop. After we went back to Aunt Bev's and watched Wolverine. It was hard to say goodbye on Sunday. We went to breakfast at McDonald's and played in the playarea for a bit because they had a basketball game and air hockey and fooseball. It was an awesome weekend and I'm so happy that my family came down to visit me! I hope they can come down again sometime!

Homesick

So can I just tell you how much I miss home right now!!! This is now going on three weeks since I've been home, which isn't that bad, I've done it before. But for some reason this time is harder. For starters, Colton is home sick and I can't be home to take care of him or help him feel better which is super hard. Then every time I call home now my mom tells me how much Kyler has been crying and saying he misses me, which he never really did last year. And today when I talked to him the first thing he said was, "Adeigh when you coming home?" Boy does the kid know how to just brake my heart! So I'm pretty much praying that I find a ride home for next weekend because I really need to see my family and Colton!!!!!! And not only for my sake, but for theirs too. Especially the two boys that keep crying because they miss me!

Fun at the Mountain!!!

So my last weekend home for the summer I really wanted to go to my family's cabin because I hadn't been able to go all summer. So my parents agreed and we all went up that Saturday and stayed until Sunday. Colton even got to come up after he went to a wedding! It was great. We just relaxed and enjoyed being up in the mountains. On Sunday we went for a walk up to the top to look at the amazing view and then went to our friends place and played on her swing and zipline. We have four-wheelers but at the moment they are all broken, so we went for a long fun ride in the car. It was the perfect last weekend home and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it any other way!

Bad At This

So I've decided this blogging thing is hard. I have done so many fun things in the past few weeks but I keep forgeting to tell everyone. So here is a quick update: Colton, my wonderful, amazing boyfriend turned 20 years old!!!! I'm dating an old man now! Lol. J/k. So for his birthday him and I went to Raging Waters the day before and then I went to his house and we just hung out the day of. I went to the zoo with Colton and his family. It was lots of fun. I love being around his family. Especially his nieces and nephews, they're so cute. We went to Lagoon again and had oodles of fun. I got to go to my cabin twice in the same week! Colton and I and my cousin went up with my grandpa for a couple of days to help him help our very close family friend with an Enrichment night dinner she does every year at her property. It was so fun! Then that weekend, because it was my last weekend home, I said I wanted to go to the cabin since I hadn't been all summer. My whole family went and Colton came up Saturday night and it was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better last weekend. I have pictures from that that I'll put on tomorrow. Unfortunatley I got my wisdom teeth out and that was not fun in any way shape or form. I only got my bottom two out and I was wide awake the whole time. By the end I wanted to cry, which I did as soon as I was out to the car. I had to have 10 shots of novacain because I do not numb up easily, and the whole time I felt like I was choking on snot that was draining into my throat. The sounds were scary, but it was the smells and the horrible tastes that made it horrible for me. My mouth has been sore for a week and is finally starting to feel better. Luckily, I had an amazing mother who took care of me, and a very caring boyfriend who would come over every night just to lay and watch movies with me and let me fall asleep on his lap:) He even brought me ice cream and my favorite, better than sex jello! He's so cute. So that's about all that's happened. I'm now back in Cedar and classes start tomorrow. I'm not too excited but hopefully everything will be okay and my classes won't kill me. I promise I'm going to do better about writing on here as well.

Photo Fun

So I have recently discovered how fun it can be to edit and play around with pictures. So I've now learned how to put color in black and white photos. So here is a few of my photos I've played with. Nothing overly cool and exciting but I like them.

We could just sail away and spend the day....

So Colton and I went to Lagoon yesterday and boy was it hot. I think the high yesterday was somewhere around 102. We got to Lagoon around 11, which apparently is when it opens (we thought it opened earlier so we were shocked to get there and it was barely opening). So we rode rides for a couple of hours. It was nice cause there were no long lines since it was so early. But after a while the heat was too much so we decided to go swimming. We swam at Lagoon-a-Beach from 1 to 6:30, that's 5 and a half hours!!!! So we swam through the heat of the day which was so nice cause it didn't bother us at all. It was fun going on the water slides and floating down the lazy river and just hanging out in the pool. Finally we decided we better get dried up and go get some food. After we ate some dinner we rode some more rides. Colton finally convinced me to go on the Ferris Wheel, which I absolutely hate. I know it sounds dumb, but I am terrified of heights, especially when I'm not strapped in. And the last time me and Colton went on he scared the crap out of me because he wouldn't stay sitting down and was moving the seat around so much I was honestly going into panic mode. But this time he was nice and stayed in one seat and i just sat and held onto him and didn't move until the horrible ride was over. The funniest thing happened as we were leaving. We're walking toward the exit and suddenly this kid comes up to us and starts saying, "What is this? What is this!" Me and Colton were completely confused because we had no idea who this kid was and weren't sure what he was doing. All we knew was that he was and employee because he had an employee shirt and tag on. Then he says, "This lady doesn't have a prize!" He then proceeds to weasle Colton into winning me a prize. But the funniest thing was, this kid wasn't even working at the game stand he took us to. From the looks of it, he himself had been on his way home but for some reason decided to stop us. So he got Colton to do the game where you have to hit the thing with the really heavy hammer and see how high you can get it. The kid even said if we didn't win he would give him his money back, so it seemed like a pretty sweet deal. So after Colton did it once and won one of those blow up hammer things, the kid then convinces him to do it two more times so he can then trade in his little prizes for one big prize. Colton made me do it once, which I barely won a small prize. But it was funny and I ended up with a stuffed penguin. It was a really fun day which ended on a really funny note. It was a great day.

Camping

So this past weekend I went camping with Colton and his family. It was a lot of fun. We went to Manti Canyon and boy was it hot!!! There was a lake near by that we walked to a couple times. On Saturday we took the kiddies down to play in a stream that fed into the lake. It was fun, and the kids absolutely loved it. Colton and his brother built a zipline, even though there were many protests against it and that entertained the kids for a long time. And of course we went on a couple of four-wheeler rides. No Woodman camping trip would be complete without that. It was really fun. Colton did not scare the crap out of me for once. We saw a bazillion cows though. One almost chased us, it was funny. All in all it was a really fun trip! I would put some pictures up but I don't have any. Hopefully I can get some from Colton.

This last week my mom, brothers and I went to Hermiston, Oregon to visit my grandparents. It was a fun trip. We didn't do much, just relaxed, did a little school shopping and just spent time with my grandparents. We played a lot of MarioKart on my grandparents Wii. Yes, my grandparents have their own Wii. Kind of funny, but yeah, anyway. We played everynight. It was fun. Over the weekend my Uncle Shane and Aunt Shawna came down from Washington to visit. On Saturday it was the Hermistion Fun Fest or something like that. They had tractor racing, entertainment, food, games, and other little booths. In the morning they had a 5k and 10k run. My aunt did the 5k and my uncle and grandpa did th 10k. Everyone was impressed by my grandpa. He's a little running machine. While they were all running, my grandma and mom took us kids downtown to see the rest of the stuff. It was a fun, very hot day. On Monday, me, my mom and my grandma made me a new dress. That was definately an interesting experience. All in all it was a fun trip.

I Love To See The Temple

So on Saturday morning I was able to go to the Oaker Mountain Temple openhouse. I got Colton and I tickets and also invited his parents. It was incredible!!! That temple is soooo beautiful!!!! It has gorgeous paintings. The chandeliers are just amazing! And the spirit there was so strong even though it hasn't even been dedicated yet. It was amazing. Being in the sealing room reminded me so much of going with my family to be sealed to my brothers and how amazingly wonderful it was. I can't wait for the day I get to go with the person I love most and be able to be sealed to them for time and all eternity!!! I love the temple so much and can't wait to be able to go through again!!!!

My family recently went on a trip to Mesa Verde. It was all of my dad's side and it was sooooo fun! It is so beautiful there. My family all got along and we went on some fun hikes and took a trip down to the four corners. Kyler was in HEAVEN!!! Being able to be outside all day and just run and play, he was happy as a tick. Now one thing you have to know about my Wilkey family is that wherever we go we seem to adopt someone new into the family, and this trip was no exception. On one of our tours we made good friends with our ranger tour guide. We were his favorite because we were the only people he'd ever gone with that turned the tram ride into a rollarcoaster ride. Lol. Well we had fun with him and he even came to breakfast at our campsite on Sunday morning. So needless to say Ranger Scott is now part of our extended Wilkey fam! We had a great trip and I hope I get to go back again someday. Here are some pictures from the trip.
